Sungjun will act as GonYi (Escort samurai). Gon is the bodyguard of Dam Yeo Wool (Suzy), and a supporter of Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi). Despite his friendship with Kang Chi, Gon will bicker with him over Yeo Wool, as Gon has a secret crush on her.

A rep from Sung Jun′s agency Choii Entertainment said on March 13, "We believe The Writings of Nine Houses will be a great chance to show [Sung Jun′s] new transformation. You can look forward to seeing him sweat to become immersed in his role.

This is a melodrama epic about the great deal of trouble Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Ki), born as a half-human-half-mythical-creature, who goes through in order to become human and a story of Choi Kang Chi’s journey of struggling in order to live more like a human than anyone else despite not being able to become human.

Yoon Seo Hwa (Lee Yeon Hee ) and the guardian god of Jiri mountains, Gu Wal Ryung (Choi Jin Hyuk) fell in love but due to the trap of their enemies, the Yoon family status fell into ruins. While Seo Hwa was on the run with her maid, she received news that Wal Ryung had disappeared after a mishap. Feeling unable to raise her son while escaping, she sent him down the river in a basket hoping that someone could take him in.

Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Ki) was raised by the Choi family after having been picked up from the river. Meanwhile, Dam Yeo Wool (Bae Suzy) is a master of martial arts and archery. Yeo Wool is an upright character who really values the Three Bonds and Five Relationships in Confucianism, and becomes an instructor at a martial arts center at a young age.

[News] Sungjun 'Up-and-comers in Scary Story 2'

All right, there’s a new horror flick out there called Scary Story 2, and for any other reason it would sound forgettable and bland… except for its cast, which is chock-full of promising up-and-comers.

First off we have Sung Joon (Can We Get Married, Shut Up: Flower Boy Band, White Christmas), whom I’d wager on as becoming a prime contender for Bright Leading Man of the Future. He’s been cast as the lead in the movie, which is the sequel to an original I’ve never heard of. But no matter, since we’ve got a much more interesting cast this time around.

And while one likable cast member is hardly enough to get excited about (I’m sure we all understand the heartbreak of That Terrible Project Our Beloved Did), we’ve also got Go Kyung-pyo to watch for. Either this boy suddenly signed with an amazing agent, or he’s gotten incredibly lucky to have his potential appreciated right off the bat: No sooner than I’d seen him be surprisingly good in the launch of Korea’s Saturday Night Live did I see him racking up lots of supporting role points with Operation Proposal, Standby, and Flower Boy Next Door. He has been cast alongside his SNL and Flower Boy co-star Kim Seul-gi (she was the bleary-eyed and sleep-deprived webtoon PD)

The film is reportedly about the “chilling events” that transpire after three friends get into a car crash. I presume we’re talking about the three boys, which includes Lee Soo-hyuk (Vampire Idol, White Christmas). (By the way, who else marvels at how interlinked this new generation of young actors is? With such casts as White Christmas and Shut Up and School, it’s no wonder these boys are co-starring repeatedly. Winner: Us.)

But it’s not just a phenomenon reserved for our boys of the industry: The two ladies in the main cast have already worked together in last year’s heartwarming sitcom High Kick 3, Baek Jin-hee and Kim Ji-won.

Scary Story 2 will begin filming this month, with plans to release in June. Yeesh, that’s a tight schedule. Well, nobody ever accused the K-entertainment industry of slacking.

[News] Sung Jun and Lee Soo Hyuk Cast for ′Scary Story 2′

Sung Jun has been cast for the film Scary Story 2.

The actor will appear in the ′Cliff (tentative title)′ episode of the film, which is a sequel to a well-received horror film released in 2012.

Cliff is about how two friends get involved in a life-threatening situation after climbing a mountain together. Sung Jun will be acting with Lee Soo Hyuk, who also used to be a model. Director Kim Sung Ho, who had his film Into the Mirror be remade by Hollywood, will helm the section.

Sung Jun was previously recognized for his acting skills and good looks through the jTBC drama Can We Get Married?. He then debuted on the big screen with the film Dangerously Excited.

Scary Story 2 is an omnibus film, and started shooting on March 6. It aims to premiere in June.
